
ChorleyFC Community Foundation Receives Essential Funding from National League Trust

The ChorleyFC Community Foundation has announced that it has received a grant of £25,000 from the National League Trust. The funding will be used to support local sporting activities and increase participation among residents in the Chorley area. Chairman of the foundation, Darren Jenkinson, expressed his excitement about the grant and stated that it would help them reach even more people in the community. He also thanked the National League Trust for their support.

The cheque was gratefully received at Chorley’s opening home game of the season by Darren Jenkinson (Chair of Chorley FC Community Foundation), Ken Wright (Chorley FC Chairman), Paul Clarkson (Chorley FC Community Foundation Trustee) and Sir Lindsay Hoyle (Member of Parliament for Chorley and Speaker of the House of Commons).

A massive £25,000 from the Premier League and PFA to help the Foundation continue their great work locally”The ChorleyFC Community Foundation is a registered charity that was established in 2019. It aims to use football as a tool to engage with local residents and promote positive social change.
The foundation provides opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in sport, regardless of financial or social circumstances. They offer both recreational and competitive programmes, as well as supporting mental health and well-being programmes.
Thanks to this latest donation from the National League Trust, even more people will have access to sporting activities and be encouraged to lead healthier lifestyles.
