Wednesday's 1pm-3pm at Victory Park
There’s nothing quite like going somewhere that you can meet with like-minded people and chat about what matters. And what matters more than your team? Their victories, their defeats, their disappointments? Exactly.
We all love a bit of nostalgia, especially when it comes to your team. There are plenty of opportunities to share memories and reminisce over tea and biscuits. We love seeing your memorabilia as well, so bring along any bits and pieces you’d like to show off. Promise to be impressed with our treasured items as well though!
A collaboration between the Chorley FC Community Foundation and the Sporting Memories Foundation, Chorley FC Sporting Memories Club builds on the success of Sporting Memories groups across Lancashire. We offer free refreshments to be enjoyed together, perhaps while watching sporting clips or listening to a bit of music. We hope it’ll get our brains firing with sporting memories!
Our group is mainly geared towards sports fans in their fifties and over. Your friends and family are more than welcome so bring along your neighbours, friends, family members and your dusty trophies too!Let’s get the kettle on, get the memorabilia on show, and most importantly, let’s get those sporting memories flowing.

You’ll be welcomed to share memories and free refreshments on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.

Jacob and Thomas had the best time. They love football but both have found an even bigger love since attending here over the Easter and May half term. The coaches are all welcoming and really look after the children. Thank you! We will definitely be returning.
Routine is vital for the those living with Dementia among our group. We laugh a lot – and laughter is still the best medicine we can have! As my mother used to say, “Memories Last Longer Than Dreams” – and long may that continue!
“The pupils were very excited to take part in a football coaching session delivered by an actual football player from our local team, Chorley FC. The coach/player engaged the children well and they all had a thoroughly fun and enjoyable session.”
